Early Childhood (3–6) Diploma

This internationally recognised Diploma prepares adults to guide children during one of the most formative periods of their development. Grounded in the pedagogy of Dr. Maria Montessori and accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE), the programme equips educators to support the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth of children aged 3–6.

Here are answers to popular questions that have been asked

Q. Is the Diploma Programme full-time or part-time?

The Early Childhood Diploma (3–6) is currently offered as a full-time programme. During the Academic Phase (September to December), candidates are required to be physically present at the Centre from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Note: From January 2027, an Extended Track option is planned for candidates requiring a flexible schedule. Please contact admissions for updates.

Q. What documents are required for the application??

A 1,000-word Statement of Motivation outlining your reasons for pursuing this vocation.
Two letters of recommendation.
A Curriculum Vitae (CV).
An official university transcript (or equivalent academic record).

Q. What is the fee structure?

Transparency is important to us. The financial commitment includes:

Application Fee: Paid upon submission of your form.
Programme Fee: Covers tuition and core training.
MACTE Fee: A separate, one-time fee paid during training for your registration with the international accrediting body.
Examination Fee: Paid prior to the final examinations in July.

Q. Who is eligible to apply?

As this is a Post-Graduate Diploma, applicants are required to hold a university degree or its equivalent (including HND or NCE). Beyond academic qualifications, we look for intellectual readiness, professional discipline, and a genuine interest in child development.

Q. Can I work while studying?

Because of the full-time schedule (Mon–Thu, 8am–2pm) and the rigorous requirements for album preparation, it is difficult to maintain standard employment during the Academic Phase. Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to commit fully to the programme.

Q. Is the programme available online?

No. The programme is delivered fully in-person. Montessori teacher education is hands-on and requires direct, sustained engagement with the materials and the prepared environment.
